Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941)
“If you want to know India, study Vivekananda.”
Swami Vivekananda, the great spiritual genius of commanding intellect and power, realized that a country’s future depends on its people. So he mainly stressed on man, “man-making is my mission”, that’s how he described his teaching. One of his renowned sayings is “Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man.” For him it is a womb to tomb process. Only positive energy should be given to children and one should have faith in oneself and God. Patience and steady work is the only way to success.
Swami Vivekananda is still a towering spiritual personality who awakened the slumbering Indian consciousness with his soul stirring vision of a dynamic spirituality. Vivekananda is regarded as the patriot saint of modern India and an inspirer of national consciousness. His birthday is celebrated as the National youth day in our country.
Swami Vivekananda Mission Central school is sponsored by Swami Vivekananda Mission Trust registered under the charitable societies act of Travancore.
In 1984 the Government of Kerala was kind enough to grant recognition to one of the UP schools of the mission trust. In the year 1998 the CBSE is pleased to award affiliation up to class X and later on 2006 the school is upgraded as a Senior Secondary School.
The Primary aim of the school is to give each student an all-round education and make them an asset to our country. It helps them to stand on their own feet and teach them self-confidence and self-respect.
The main objective is to impart liberal education to the pupil irrespective of caste, creed, religion or politics. The second motto is to spread the message of universal brother hood. To concentrate on these principles, we have adopted Swami Vivekananda as our ideologist and follow his ideas and objectives.
